Directions from Rome Ciampino airport

Turn right at the airport exit, following signs for Rome. (This takes you onto the ring road).

Leave the ring road at junction 14 and follow the signs for the A1, Firenze-Napoli. When the road splits follow the signs for Firenze and continue in a northerly direction up the A1.

Leave the A1 at the exit for Chiusi - Chianciano Terme.

After the toll barrier follow signs to Chiusi (go slowly - there are two quite sharp right hand bends).

Go up the hill until you reach traffic lights. Take the right hand fork down the hill towards Chiusi Scalo. At the bottom of the hill the road curves to the left (there is a right turn there which looks straight on, ignore this). Follow signs for Perugia. Just outside Chiusi Scalo the main road again curves to the left with a right hand turn that appears to go straight on. Make sure you stay on the main road.

In a few kilometers you will enter Moiano. In the middle of Moiano (which is just a small town built either side of the main road), you will see a large bank building on your left with a car parking area and then a pharmacy. At this point there is a brown sign to "Le Coste" - turn left at the sign.

Continuing to follow the brown signs, you will turn right then left and the road crosses a railway line. At this point you can see the main gates to the estate and the avenue of cypress trees. Bearing left at the end of the road, drive through the gate and up the hill. (At this point you are on an unmade road).

Follow yellow signs to "Le Coste" until the point where the main track goes straight on and the track to "Le Coste" is at 90 degrees to your right. Follow green signs onwards to Pomelato.

Directions from Perugia (San Egidio) airport

Turn right out of the airport and follow signs to Perugia.

You will join the motorway and after about 10 minutes it splits in two.

Take the Perugia/Firenze direction NOT Rome/Terni. This will take you right past Perugia and through several long tunnels.

After Perugia turn off the motorway at the sign for Magione. Then turn left at the sign for Chiusi and follow the road along for about 10 kilometers. Keep straight on at the cross roads at Macchie and shortly after take the second turning on the right towards Chiusi.

When you reach Moiano, keep a look out on the right for a pharmacy and a car park. There is a brown sign for Le Coste. Turn right and follow the road round. You can see the entrance to the estate on the hill. Continue as in the directions from Rome Ciampino.
